DJ Thomas P. Walter began his DJ career at the age of 18, working for WKBI Radio out of Elk County, Pennsylvania in the summer before college. Soon after, he moved to Pittsburgh to study broadcast journalism at Point Park University. Tom met DJ Mike Willis through a college roommate in 2008, and Mike taught Tom the art of mixing. After working in bars and clubs throughout the region, Tom began to train as DJ Bill Bara’s assistant. He officially joined the Modern Era family of DJs in 2012, and has been turning weddings into parties ever since!
Tom is committed to the success of every event he is a part of, and has the reviews to back it up. Clients say he is a great communicator, highly flexible, able to handle any situation, can keep the dancefloor packed, and is just a fun person to have at your wedding. Music is his one true passion, and is well-versed in many genres past and present. When he’s not DJing, Tom also is part owner of Trivia Jockeys, an all-digital team trivia game for bars and private events around Pittsburgh.
