We run lighting and music off one setup, cued from the same place, which is why our lighting looks like it belongs to the night rather than running alongside it. When the lighting and the music come from two separate systems, the moments where a look should land with a song are exactly the moments where it does not, and in a room with this much architecture in it the difference is obvious.

Questions couples ask us about Casa Marina
How late can the party go? Key West properties set their own end times and the resort will confirm yours in writing when you book, so ask them directly and ask early, because it changes how we build the night. Whatever the end time turns out to be, extending a package usually moves the start earlier rather than the end later, so the real decision is what you are willing to begin before dark. Tell us the end time and we will plan the arc around it.
Is there a backup if it rains? Outdoor events here are assigned an indoor backup space. Confirm the specifics with the resort when you book, including whether setup in both spaces is covered.
Do we need a coordinator, and can we bring our own vendors? The resort has requirements on both, including an approved vendor process. Ask the catering team for their current rules before you sign anything, because they decide who can work the property.
Will the music carry on the beach? Yes, with the right setup. Open beach eats sound and the wind off the Atlantic moves it, so we place for coverage rather than volume and put a windscreened microphone on your officiant. Guests in the back row hearing the vows is the single most common thing that goes wrong at a beach ceremony anywhere, and it is entirely preventable.
