Marco Island is a city on an island, and the practical version of that is that almost everything happens within about fifteen minutes of everything else, which makes it one of the easiest places we work to run a real weekend rather than a single evening.

The thing to settle first here is whose beach you are on, because a ceremony on a resort's own sand and a ceremony on public beach are two different events with two different sets of permissions, and the second one puts the City of Marco Island Parks and Recreation in your planning rather than your venue. Ask them early about the permit and about amplified music specifically, because the answer to the second question decides whether your ceremony has a real sound system or a speaker on a stick, and nobody wants to learn that in the week of the wedding.

We work the JW Marriott Marco Island Beach Resort and the Hilton Marco Island Beach Resort, both of which handle the beach side of this themselves, which is most of the reason couples end up at them.

The island is also a genuinely good place to be a guest, which matters more than people expect. Everybody is walking distance from a drink and ten minutes from their room, nobody is driving, and a crowd that is not thinking about the trip home stays on the floor a great deal longer.
